Blog. South West Polo Day raises £50,000.

Eight award-winning chefs from the South West came together on Sunday 2nd June at Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire to raise £50,000 for Hospitality Action.

The sun shone as all 240 guests were treated to a sublime three course meal followed by afternoon cream tea prepared by; Martin Blake of The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, Chris Cleghorn of The Olive TreeJauca Catalin of The Bath Priory, Sarah Hayward of The Coach, Marlow, John Jewell of Calcot & Spa, Hywel Jones and Nicolas Brandebourg of Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa and Kelvin Mullins of The Pig Hotel Group.

Guests enjoyed a Taittinger and canapé reception prior to The Henderson Rosebowl and tucked into an outstanding three course lunch sponsored by Walter Rose and SonFlying Fish Seafoods, Four Seasons Fruiterers, Harvey and Brockless and Hobbs House Bakery amongst others. The meal was accompanied with wine kindly donated by Hatch Mansfield, soft drinks from Frobishers, and water from Wenlock SpringCreed Foodservice and Jongor Hire also helped to make the day possible for which we are hugely grateful, as did Tolchards.
