Blog. New Ambassadors Announcement

January 11, 2024 | Author: Giuliana Vittiglio

At Hospitality Action we receive no government funding, every penny spent on our beneficiaries must be earned. We’re lucky to work in partnership with hundreds of operators, suppliers and institutional funders who want to recognise the joy hospitality brings to their lives. We’re also extremely fortunate to work alongside a league of over 100 generous Ambassadors who use their influence and reputation to raise awareness, fundraise and champion our mental health output.

Ambassadors include James Clarke, General Manager, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, host of this spring's epic Back to the Floor fundraising gala, Lorraine Jarvie, General Manager, The Royal Crescent Hote & Spa who is crucial to the organisation of the Walk for Wellbeing and Emma Keeble, Mental Health First Aid Instructor Anchor People, host of our Mental Health First Aid training.

Petra Clayton, Creator & CEO, Custard says:

“I’ve worked in hospitality for almost 30 years and one of the things I admire about our industry is the strength of relationships that can be found, and the ability to share challenges and work together to define new opportunities. This isn’t always possible for everyone, and they need extra support and guidance, so having a charity such as Hospitality Action ensures we are there for every corner of the industry and for anyone touched by a short- or long-term challenge. I’m humbled to support Hospitality Action as an Ambassador and being able to represent and promote a vital charity for those seeking support at every level.”

Dean Culpan, General Manager, South Place Hotel says:

"I am deeply honoured to join the ranks of Hospitality Action as an Ambassador. The incredible work this organization undertakes to uplift those within the hospitality sector throughout the UK is truly remarkable. I consider it a privilege to contribute to this noble cause. My commitment involves not only devoting my time but also inspiring others to participate in making a positive impact. Our goal is to enhance the wellbeing of the hospitality community, ensuring it remains a vibrant and supportive environment. It's vital for us as leaders, and those aspiring to leadership in the hospitality industry, to invest our efforts in supporting a charity that gives so much back to our community."

As a charity, and as individuals, we value and appreciate the support of our Ambassadors more than we can express.
